This recipe is super quick and simple to make, and a bonus is it's nut free, nearly gluten free* for anyone with allergies, plus it's vegan!
Rolling these Bliss Balls in Blackcurrant powder not only adds colour but also a fantastic zing

- 2-3 Tablespoons Viberi Blackcurrant Powder
Method:
Step 1 :
Process rolled oats, cacao/cocoa powder, maple syrup, desiccated coconut and soft dried Blackcurrants in a food processor or Nutri Bullet until almost smooth.

Best gluten free substitute for oats is flaked quinoa – very easy to use, better tasting but more expensive than oats. Buy from The Source Bulk Foods or New World in Victoria Market, Auckland
Hi Claire,
Thanks kindly for that information. We’ve updated the recipe slightly.
Do you have an idea for a gluten free substitute for a recipe like this by any chance that we could share?
Thanks again!
Riaz
Oats are not classified as gluten free in New Zealand or Australia due to stricter regulation.
